My story
I’m taking on the South Coast Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
That’s where we come in. As long as my legs hold out, I’ll walk to raise funds to smash cancer.
We have many friends and family who have suffered so it’s close to home. On the day I will be walking in memory of Anne Pendry, a former colleague and friend.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
