My story
I lost my only child, my beautiful boy Bradley James to cancer on 29th May 2015, he was only 18 years old. Bradley was my world and losing him has been the most horrific pain I've ever had to endure; living without him is the hardest thing I've ever had to learn to do, and I miss him more than words can describe. No parent should watch their child suffer and watch them take their last breath.
Bradley fought his illness with such courage and bravery but sadly lost his battle to this awful disease. From the time Bradley was diagnosed in September 2014 he had a wonderful Macmillan nurse Annette assigned to him who was there throughout his treatment and supported both him and me during his battle with cancer. The support and care she gave us helped us both through the most difficult time.
Bradley would've been 30 this year on 17th December so I'm doing this incredibly challenging 26 mile hike along the Gower Coast in memory of my beautiful boy to celebrate his 30th birthday and raise funds for this wonderful charity.
Please donate if you can and help me and my wonderful friends (Rachel Williams, Joanne Ware, Gemma Warner, Wendy Bell, Claire Marks, Nicola Monckton and Rachel Richardson) who have agreed to do the hike with me to raise funds for Macmillan to continue to support people battling this cruel disease.
Thank you all from Bradley's Walking Warriors x
