Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike Half Marathon

My story

Hi! I'm Connie ☺️ I'm 18 years old, and this September I'll be taking on the Northumberland Coast Half Marathon as part of the Macmillan Mighty Hike 2026 with my friends at The Regal Cinema, and I'm aiming to raise £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support (which is only a fraction of the £2500 my team is aiming to raise!)

Seeing my dad face the battle, treatment, and uncertainty of cancer has shown me how important support is really needed in situations like these, and I'm so glad I have the opportunity to give back to an organisation that helps families like mine.

If you know me you know I hate exercise, but the achy legs and wobbly knees will be worth it knowing I helped to raise money for a cause that means a lot to me 💚
