My story
Not many people know the story of my Nan, as she passed away when I was very young, and I’ve never really spoken about her to anyone, however she passed from lung cancer so never got the chance to grow up with her, however the memories I do have being around her and at her house still live with me today and will cherish them forever.
She was a lovely lady and is dearly missed still. So I’m taking on the Lake District Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £500 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
That’s where we come in.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
