My story
Dear family and friends,
Thank you for looking at my fund-raising page.
My request here will be short and sweet, but entirely genuine.
As you know, I am not the fittest of men and I can usually be found wearing my Orange Bearhug knee, ankle, wrist and elbow supports, on every occasion. Given all of this, I have decided to join a group of work colleagues who are undertaking the 26.2 mile Macmillan South Coast Mighty Hike, which is taking place on Saturday 13th June, 2026, to try and raise as much money for those affected by cancer.
I am positive we all know someone who has been affected by the disease or has lost their life to it. The work of the Macmillan charity speaks for itself. The work they do is truly remarkable!
I am asking for your support so that we can help raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.
Your support will mean everything to me and them, much more than any Orange piece of fabric, therefore, please contribute as much as you can!
