My story
We’re taking on the Mighty Hike, challenging ourselves every step of the way to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year’s hike is especially personal for our family. We’re taking on the challenge in support of our dad, Martin, who is living with cancer and continues to face treatment with incredible strength and determination. It was Martin’s idea for us all to do the Mighty Hike together, and — treatment permitting — he’ll be walking every mile alongside us.
Together, we're aiming to make a real impact, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Right now, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, and that number continues to rise. Macmillan’s mission is to be there for everyone, from the moment of diagnosis through every part of their journey.
