My story
So this year I have decided to push myself out of my comfort zone with my very good team at Half moon dental surgery and do the Lake District Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of MacMillan cancer
Now in my 40s I’d love to say I have achieved something and most of all something worth while
I’m not running for anyone in particular but we all know someone who has fought the battle, lost the battle and is still fighting the battle of cancer, so I am doing it for those people, friends and family gone to soon.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
That’s where we come in.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
