My story
A year ago I lost a true friend to cancer. She fought her battle with amazing strength and dignity and beat all the odds to continue a lot longer than any doctor predicted. Michelle was and always will be an incredible inspiration to me and all who knew her. I'm doing this challenge because I want to help make change, also because I know Michelle will be watching and laughing at me suffering!!!!!
I’m taking on the Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
