My story
I’m taking on the South Coast Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
That’s where we come in.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
This is certainly going to be a challenge! I'll be battling lots of hills and be in the hands of the weather gods on the day.
The training alone will be hard with some 6 to 7 hour walks in preparation. I have some amazing people to train with and walk with on the day.
It is an amazing charity to support. Sadly we have all been affected by cancer whether it's been a family member or friend.
We're doing this is memory of those that have lost the battle to cancer. Also to help support current and future friends and family that may be going through treatment or need treatment at a future date.
We must not forget those that have also had treatment and fought cancer and are still with us.
Please help me to raise money and keep me going on the tough moments in the event.
