My story
I’m taking on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike, pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
That’s where we come in.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
This page is created in loving memory of our beautiful sister, cousin and friend. She was brave, strong, and full of love. She faced her cancer diagnosis with extraordinary courage. Although her battle was heartbreakingly short, she fought with dignity, grace, and quiet strength until the very end. She never complained, never gave up, and continued to think of others even when she was facing the hardest moments of her life. Her kindness, compassion, and love touched so many lives. She was loved as a mum, wife, daughter, sister and friend. We are incredibly proud of the way she faced her journey. So, to honour her memory, we are taking part in the Macmillan Mighty Hike; walking a full marathon in September to raise money and support for those living with and affected by cancer. This is for anyone who has loved and lost, for those who are loving and fighting for a loved one, and those that would just like to support.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support.
