My story
My dad, Richard, was a truly special man, and when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, we saw firsthand how vital expert support is during such a difficult journey.
The care provided was unbelievable, and it’s something our family will always be grateful for. Because of the help we received, I feel incredibly passionate about giving back. I want to make sure that as many people as possible can access that same level of support when they face a cancer diagnosis.
To do my part, I’m taking on the Macmillan Mighty Hike around Ullswater. I’ll be trekking 26 miles through the Lake District to raise funds that go directly toward helping other families navigate their toughest days.
No one should have to face cancer alone. By donating, you are helping Macmillan provide nurses, a support line, and financial advice to those who need it most. Every penny raised is a way of saying thank you for the care Richard received and ensuring that light is there for the next person who needs it.
Thank you so much for your support—it means everything to me.
