My story
I’m taking on the Peak District Mighty Hike to raise £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support, because everyone deserves strength, hope, and support when facing cancer.
My family and friends have been through their own battles — some still ongoing, some thankfully behind them — and Macmillan has been a source of comfort and guidance throughout. Their kindness, their expertise, and their ability to bring light into the darkest moments is exactly why I’m doing this hike.
Across the UK, almost 3.5 million people are living with cancer. Macmillan’s mission is to make sure every single one of them has someone in their corner, from diagnosis to recovery and beyond.
This is where we can help.
Your donation, however small, helps Macmillan continue the incredible work they do — giving people strength, reassurance, and the belief that they don’t have to face this alone.
Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
