Our story
Sammy's story: Last year I lost my beautiful Grandmother (Mama) to cancer. I got to see first hand the important work and support Macmillan do for cancer patients and their loved ones. Now I want to do something for them.
I love a good ramble with my bestie so we're taking on the Thames Path Mighty Hike together, pushing our limits (seriously pushing my limits) to raise £500 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.
The scary fact is almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey.
Now it's our turn to return the favour and raise as much as possible to support their staff's incredible efforts, meaning your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.
